CSI: NY Turns 10!

Today marks the 10-year anniversary of CSI: NY. I know I said I was planning to do a countdown leading up to today but I thought it would be better to just do a mass post. Soooo, here it is! I’m going to share with you my favorite memories of CSI: NY. I have so many favorite memories and quotes, most revolving around Danny and Lindsay, that it was extremely hard to narrow them down.

“Today is life. The only life you’re sure of.

Make the most of today.”

-Mac Taylor

*I tried to find the original video with the last scene but I’m using my new computer and none of my saved videos are on this. This video however was made by fellow CSI: NY fan kittycat261 which I think you all will enjoy! Today Is Life

The lost kiss! Those sneaky little writers kept this from us for a VERY long time! But man did they make up for it!

Not What It Looks Like

This was one of my favorite Danny and Lindsay episodes.

Snow Day

The season finale of season 3 is one episode I can watch on repeat all day long. I mean it had epic gunfights, explosions, and of course romance! This was the episode all Danny and Lindsay, Dantana as we used to call them ;), fans have been waiting for. No more built up sexual tension. No more will they, wont they. “Snow Day” is the episode to blame for our love of pool tables. And also, lets be real, the New York Crime Lab is the boss. Who else can get three new labs in 4 years?!

I like to skip over most of season 4. Season 4 was the dark days of CSI: NY. I won’t lie. I almost up and left the show when Danny cheated. I was Team Lindsay that year. But then Danny FINALLY realized that without Lindsay he’s nothing 😉

Cause the truth is…truth is I miss you…

I miss you more than I can say even if, uh,

I don’t know how to say it”

– Danny Messer

First comes love…. Then comes marriage….

Then comes the baby in the baby carriage!

Our lovely Lucy Messer over the years!

We were on the chopping block three times. Not knowing if we’d be back for seasons 8, 9 or 10. The season finales for seasons 7-9 were easily three of the best episodes. The writers did an amazing job leaving each episode as a finale that could go for the series. I tried to find my good copy of ‘Holding On & Letting Go’ but once again… it’s lost on my old computer. But here is the next best thing, courtesy of virginiagirl54 of youtube! I cry every time! Holding On & Letting Go

Can we take a moment of silence…

I didn’t think this would EVER happen. They were just so happy…

I thought it was over for Flack… But then…. FLAVATO!

The season 8 premiere… I have no words for this episode. Being such a sensitive topic for many, I feel the writers, producers, directors, actors and everyone else involved did a wonderful job portraying just a little piece of what happened that horrible day.

Near Death

That time they almost killed Mac….

Season 9 was filled with individual episodes for most characters and I loved them all. However, Adam’s is the one that stuck out to me the most.

The Real McCoy

Adam to me has always been an important character but he rarely had a good story arch. This episode was his time to shine. One, we find out Adam’s not so lonely after all. Finally! He needed a little love that was not Kendall. Two, we to see the more vulnerable side of Adam. I think this was one of AJ’s best performances.

Mac met Christine & she said yes! I’m sorry… I was not the biggest Peyton fan.

But really, the top moment… BABY BOY MESSER!

I’m 98% sure I forgot most of the ones that I wanted to share with you… But there it is. 9 seasons, 197 episodes. 10 years of memories. I get emotional every time I think about CSI: NY. I know it’s a little silly but I’ve been a fan of this show for literally half my life. I’ve made life long friends (Rachel & Danielle), met the cast, visited the sets, I was invested. I know I’ve posted this video before but it is honestly one of the best CSI: NY montage videos I’ve ever seen. Job well done by xnewyorksfinestx! Time Of Our Lives

Jo: “What are you going to miss the most Mac?”

Mac: The people. The team. Danny’s stubbornness,Lindsay’s conviction,

Hawkes’ brain, Flack’s sarcasm, Sid’s quirkiness, Adam’s….Adam,

Your friendship, And your post it notes.

Thank you to all the cast and crew for giving us 10 years of memories.

Carmine Giovinazzo’s TV Return!

Congratulations are in order for CSI: NY vet and my favorite actor Carmine Giovinazzo! He has been casted with a recurring role on the USA show Graceland! Carmine will play Sid Markham, the head of the LAPD’s Gang Task Force. Which I can totally see! That’s such a badass title and Carmine is a total badass. But he will be a smart badass which is even sexier if you ask me.

“More mind than muscle, he uses his intelligence and ability to read people as a way to build relationships and close cases — though that does not preclude the occasional act of violence.” –TVLine

Carmine will be working with season 1 CSI: NY Vanessa Ferlito! Which I’m even more excited about! It’s a Danny and Aiden reunion!

Graceland returns to USA for their second season this summer! Check it out!

The Duke Has Arrived

I know it’s been forever! I’ve been super busy with school lately.

But I come baring good news!

If you don’t already know, I am a diehard Carmine Giovinazzo fan. Have been for 10 years this September. Crazy it’s been this long! Anyway, Carmine’s new movie Duke is now available for order! Carmine fans have been waiting a very long time for this!

Here’s what you can look forward to!

“Duke is a modern day telling of a classic western film. Dare and Roost are brothers who have been raised in a reformatory, taught to survive and conditioned to trust no one. They have moved to West Los Angeles, where Dare moonlights himself as a detective and Roost blankets himself in old John Wayne films and reclusive habit.
Cleaning the streets and ridding the neighborhoods of scum, this contemporary study finds Dare obsessed with a phantom like criminal(Winky), who seems to be terrorizing the community. Simultaneously, the same exact investigation is being lead by official and likely engrossed Detective Robert Morrison. As Dare closes in on Winky and the entire department closes in on them both, these brothers must make the ultimate commitment and pay the extraordinary consequences therein.
Duke stretches beyond the stereotypical vigilante justice picture with it’s measurable heart and honest framing off arrested development, codependency, heroic zeal and poetic justice.” –Duke The Film.

Joining Carmine… Hank Harris, Anthony Gaudioso, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Michael Irby, James Gaudioso,
( A CSI: NY reunion) Vanessa Ferlito, Richard Roundtree, Michael Bowen, Carmen Argenziano, Kelley Flynn, Fredro Starr, Maurice Benard, & Richard Green

The original release date was February 18th but it was impossible to find. First it was said to be at Best Buy, they think I’m crazy “I’m telling you. You’re supposed to have it!”, then it was Sam’s Club, of course there isn’t one close to me. I finally found it on Amazon! Click the link to order your today!!

Nine Years of CSI: NY

9 years ago today my mom let me stay up to watch the series premiere of CSI: NY and she’s regretted it ever since! My life has resolved around CSI: NY since I was 9. I’ve had the chance to meet the cast and crew on set while filming in New York City and they are the best. They truly love and appreciate their fans. We fans were blessed with an amazing cast who had this fantastic chemistry on and off-screen. My heart broke when we were cancelled especially so close too our 200th episode and it still hasn’t sunk in. I know it will this Friday at 9pm when Hawaii 5-0 premieres instead.  I just wanted to take this moment to wish CSI: NY a very happy birthday.

9 years, 197 episodes, and one amazing cast!
